Terms of Use

Effective date: October 1, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Remi app ("Remi" or the "App"), provided by Darya Batura, Warsaw, Poland ("Publisher", "we", "us" or "our").

By downloading, opening or using Remi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Remi. Our Privacy Policy is at remilife.com/privacy.

1. About Remi

Remi is a household organizer that helps you keep track of deadlines, document expiration dates, payments, subscriptions, appointments, product expiration dates, household activities, reminders and other information you enter.

Remi is an organizing tool. It is not a medical, emergency, financial, legal, tax or accounting service.

2. Eligibility

Remi is intended for adults organizing their own household. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. You can create profiles and items about children or other household members, but those profiles are not Remi accounts.

3. License

Remi is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Remi on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Unless applicable law expressly allows it, you may not:

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Remi or our intellectual property to you.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the information, documents, images, notes and other content you add to Remi ("Your Content"). You are responsible for what you enter, for having the right to store or share it, for checking that it is accurate, for choosing who receives anything you share, and for keeping backups of anything important.

We do not run a server that keeps a copy of your Remi data, so we may not be able to recover content that you delete or lose.

5. iCloud

Remi uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit to sync eligible items between your devices and to share Family items with your household. iCloud is subject to Apple's terms, your iCloud settings, available storage and technical availability, and we do not guarantee that sync will always be immediate, uninterrupted or error-free. Health and Medication items are never synced to iCloud or shared by Remi; they stay on the iPhone where you created them.

6. Household sharing

You can invite other people to your Remi household. Household members can view and edit the items you mark as Family. You are responsible for inviting only people you trust, choosing what you share, reviewing who is in your household and removing access when needed. Anyone who receives and uses your iCloud household invitation may get access, as Apple's sharing works. Health and Medication items are never shared.

7. Recognition, voice, camera and automated suggestions

Remi can suggest titles, dates, amounts, categories, text and product names from what you say, type, photograph or scan. These suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate. Review every suggestion before you save it, and do not rely on automated recognition alone for an important deadline, payment, medication, appointment or similar information.

8. Reminders are not guaranteed

Remi's reminders are a convenience. A reminder can fail, be delayed or not appear because of notification permissions, Focus or Do Not Disturb, iOS behavior, device settings, a device that is off, battery or background limits, software defects, incorrect information you entered, changes in Apple services or other technical reasons outside our control.

You remain responsible for your deadlines, payments, renewals, appointments, medication schedules and other obligations. Remi should not be your only record or reminder for anything where missing it could cause serious harm. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible merely because a reminder was missed, delayed or wrong. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Health and medication information

Remi lets you record doctor appointments, medications, refill dates and other health information. Remi is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not tell you whether to take, stop or change a medication or dose, seek care, or follow a treatment.

What Remi shows never replaces instructions from your doctor, pharmacist or another qualified professional. Never use Remi in an emergency; contact your local emergency services. Medication reminders can fail, so always check medication names, doses and schedules yourself.

10. No professional advice

Nothing Remi stores, organizes, recognizes or shows is medical, legal, financial, tax, insurance or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional when you need one.

11. Open Food Facts and product information

If you turn on product lookup, Remi may get a product's name and details from Open Food Facts, an independent third-party service, based on the barcode you scan. This information may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, so check anything important against the packaging. Open Food Facts data is provided under its own license terms, including the Open Database License.

12. Third-party services

Remi relies on services and system features provided by third parties, including Apple. Your use of Remi must comply with their applicable terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes or discontinuation of services we do not control, except where that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Free version

Remi offers a free version with up to 10 active items. We may change the free version in future updates, as allowed by law and without taking away anything you have already paid for.

14. Remi Plus

Remi Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription bought through Apple's App Store. It currently includes unlimited active items and the cost outlook. The exact features are shown before you buy. The price shown by the App Store when you confirm the purchase is the price that applies, subject to Apple's pricing, taxes and terms.

15. Plans and prices

At launch, Remi Plus is offered as:

Prices may vary with taxes, currency, Apple's price tiers or later changes. The price Apple shows right before you confirm controls.

16. Free trial

The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial where shown. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically becomes the paid yearly subscription shown when you started it. Apple decides trial eligibility, which may be limited to people who have not used the offer before.

17. Billing and automatic renewal

Apple bills subscriptions to your Apple Account. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase, under Apple's rules. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and Apple charges the renewal price to your payment method. You can view, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting Remi or deleting your Remi data does not cancel a subscription.

18. Cancellation

You can cancel Remi Plus at any time in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, under Apple's rules. After that, Remi Plus features stop working. Your Remi content is not deleted because a subscription ends, although the free version's limits apply to adding more active items.

19. Refunds

Apple processes all purchases, so refund requests go to Apple and follow Apple's policies and mandatory consumer law. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.

20. Restore purchases

Remi has a Restore option (Settings › Remi Plus) that asks Apple to restore an active subscription on your device. Restoring a purchase does not bring back Remi content that was deleted.

21. Apple Family Sharing of purchases

The Remi Plus subscription is not shared through Apple's purchase Family Sharing unless Apple shows otherwise at the time of purchase. Remi's own household sharing is separate: invited household members can use Remi's household features without buying their own subscription.

22. Changes to prices and features

Prices and included features may change over time. Any price increase follows Apple's App Store process and applicable law, including any notice or consent Apple requires. Changes never override mandatory consumer rights.

23. Availability

We work to keep Remi available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change or remove features when reasonably needed for security, legal compliance, compatibility, product development, changes in third-party services or technical reasons, subject to applicable consumer law.

24. Backups and data loss

Important information should not exist only in Remi. iCloud sync is not a substitute for your own backups of important documents. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by things outside our reasonable control, such as a lost or damaged device, losing access to your Apple Account, deletion by you or a household member, unavailable or corrupted backups, or failures of third-party services or iOS. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.

25. Acceptable use

Do not use Remi to break the law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, spread malware, try to gain unauthorized access to Remi or related services, interfere with how Remi works or its security, impersonate someone for unlawful purposes, or harm Remi, its users or others.

26. Intellectual property

Except for Your Content and properly licensed third-party material, Remi and its software, design, graphics, trademarks, branding and other content are owned by or licensed to the Publisher and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive no rights except those stated in these Terms.

27. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Remi is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that Remi will always be available, that reminders will always be delivered, that recognition will always be accurate, that third-party information will always be correct, that sync will always succeed, or that Remi will fit every use. Some places do not allow statutory warranties or guarantees to be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or changes a warranty, guarantee, right or remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude, restrict or change.

28. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither the Publisher nor its suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Remi, including losses caused by a missed reminder, deadline or appointment where such liability may lawfully be limited. This does not apply where the law does not allow it, and it does not affect mandatory consumer rights where you live.

29. Termination

You can stop using Remi at any time. We may end or restrict your license if you seriously breach these Terms, subject to applicable law. Ending your use of Remi does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage that in your Apple Account settings. Terms that by their nature should continue after termination stay in effect.

30. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Remi changes or for legal, technical or security reasons. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Where the law requires, we will give notice of material changes and ask for consent. Changes do not take away rights you have already gained.

31. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, where the Publisher is established, but you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country, state or province where you live. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to give up a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

32. Terms that apply because Remi is distributed through the App Store

Agreement with the Publisher, not Apple. These Terms are between you and Darya Batura, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The Publisher, not Apple, is solely responsible for Remi and its content.

Scope of license. Your license to use Remi is limited to a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that Remi may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Apple's Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where those apply.

Maintenance and support. The Publisher, not Apple, is responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Remi, as described in these Terms or required by law. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for Remi.

Warranty. The Publisher is responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If Remi fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, for Remi to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Remi, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are the Publisher's responsibility.

Product claims. The Publisher, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Remi or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that Remi fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.

Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that Remi or your possession and use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights, the Publisher, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Remi, such as your wireless data service agreement.

Apple as third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. When you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
